Dian Kirana

Dian Kirana (Deka) graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 2012. She joined a top-tier law firm specializing in intellectual property that same year and spent more than seven years there, handling various IP prosecution and litigation matters involving trademarks, patents, copyrights, and industrial designs. She also advised clients on franchise and data privacy matters.

At SSEK, Deka handles IP prosecution and enforcement, as well as transactions involving IP, personal data protection matters, TMT, distribution agreements, share transfers, franchise matters, company establishments, cryptoasset matters, land and building acquisitions, and government projects.

Deka is a registered IP consultant in Indonesia, allowing her to represent foreign IP owners in the prosecution and litigation of their IP matters in Indonesia.

Deka earned her Master of Laws in intellectual property and information law from King's College London with an Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education scholarship. During her master's program, Deka volunteered at a charitable institution in London that works in partnership with local communities to tackle financial and social hardship.

Deka has more than ten years of experience assisting clients on IP matters. She is a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer for IP.

Deka is fluent in English and Indonesian.
