Mahareksha Singh Dillon has a broad practice that sees him handle a range of corporate matters. He is an active member of the firm’s dispute resolution team, mostly handling commercial disputes, bankruptcy, debt restructuring and complex litigation matters, including police investigations and immigration matters. He has also worked on commercial transactions in various sectors, including his recent work assisting clients with the establishment of data centers.

Prior to joining SSEK, Mahareksha worked at a boutique law firm in Jakarta, where he was involved in banking and general corporate transactions. He also was involved in a high-profile bank bailout in Indonesia, involving a corporate restructuring and asset recovery.

Representative Matters
  • Assisting Althea Italy S.p.A., an Italian health service provider, after several members of an international cybercrime syndicate intercepted emails between Althea Italy S.p.A. and a Chinese company that had been supplying Althea Italy S.p.A. with medical equipment, including ventilators for coronavirus patients.
  • Acting for Yara, a Norwegian fertilizer company, in various matters in Indonesia, from representing the client in an investigation by the Indonesian National Police of possible consumer protection violations to assisting in licensing and employment matters.
  • Representing a consulting services company in litigation in the Indonesian courts over a failed acquisition in the energy sector.
  • Representing a major US automobile manufacturer in the South Jakarta District Court in proceedings brought by several automobile dealers relating to the manufacturer’s announced withdrawal from the Indonesian market.
  • Representing Jakarta International School (now Jakarta Intercultural School) in a criminal matter that received significant international media coverage, involving police investigations, district court criminal proceedings and a separate defamation case.
  • Assisting PT Indosat Tbk in the establishment of a joint venture with BDx Asia Data Center Holdings Pte. Ltd. to develop data centers in Indonesia.
  • Assisting a Chinese construction company and its subsidiaries with the collection of its receivables from customers in Indonesia.
