Agung K. Sihombing

Agung Kurniawan Sihombing works on corporate transactions, privacy matters, and projects and transactions in the ecommerce, payment systems, financial services, environment, employment, and immigration sectors.

Agung has assisted the Ministry of Communication and Informatics as the buyer in an international procurement project for the development of a data center, advised multinational companies on environmental remediation, and advised foreign ecommerce companies on IT and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining SSEK, Agung interned at a prominent law firm in Thailand, where he assisted with intellectual property matters.

While at university, Agung was active in international moot court and writing competitions, including the 2020 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where he received the Best Memorial award. Agung was active in several student organizations at the university and national levels, including as a researcher for the Asian Law Students’ Association Indonesia.

Agung is fluent in English and Indonesian.
