SSEK Law Firm Advises Indosat on Transfer of Data Center Assets

SSEK Law Firm represented PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat) in the successful transfer of data center assets valued at IDR 2.62 trillion to an affiliated company, PT Starone Mitra Telekomunikasi (SMT), a joint venture of Indosat, BDx Asia Data Center Holdings Pte. Ltd. (BDx), and PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta.

SSEK concurrently assisted Indosat in entering into a comprehensive set of commercial and operational agreements with SMT and BDx governing the provision of data center services from SMT to Indosat and the leasing of specific premises by Indosat to SMT following the consummation of the transaction.

The SSEK team’s role included due diligence of Indosat's data center assets, the preparation, review, and finalization of the transactional and operational documents, and ensuring compliance with Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations related to affiliated transactions.

SSEK’s team was led by senior partner Ira A. Eddymurthy, with partner Mahareksha Singh Dillon and senior associate A. Charlie R. Malessy.
