SSEK Hosts ICC Indonesia – CCPIT MOU Signing to Strengthen Economic Ties

SSEK Law Firm recently hosted a business delegation meeting and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Indonesia and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Commercial Sub-Council.

The event aimed to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Indonesia and China, and to introduce entrepreneurs and connect potential business partners from both countries.

Ira A. Eddymurthy, founding partner of SSEK and chairwoman of the Commercial Law & Practice Commission of ICC Indonesia, delivered a presentation on Indonesia-China business collaboration and highlighted SSEK's role as a leading independent law firm in Indonesia. Her remarks were delivered in Mandarin by SSEK associate Vivin Purnamawati.

SSEK partner Nico A. P. Mooduto also attended and supported the MOU signing ceremony.

Bapak Ilham Habibie, President of ICC Indonesia, and Xiong Canxin, Director of the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion at the CCPIT Commercial Sub-Council, signed the MOU. The agreement underscores the shared commitment to promoting cross-border investment and expanding trade between the two countries.

Established in 1988, the CCPIT Commercial Sub-Council is a national organization dedicated to advancing trade and investment, particularly in the service and consumer goods sectors.
