Laila Maghfira Andaretna

Laila Maghfira Andaretna (Fira) has worked on a variety of transactions at SSEK, with a focus on general corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, projects and energy, law and technology, especially data privacy, and projects and transactions in the e-commerce space.

Fira graduated from Airlangga University in 2023 and was named Best Graduate. She also graduated with honors from the European Legal Studies program during her international student exchange at Sapienza University of Rome. During her studies, Fira received two merit-based scholarships from the Indonesian central bank and was an awardee of an Indonesian International Student Mobility Award, a fully funded scholarship granted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

Fira actively participated in international conferences, research projects, and international moot court competitions, representing both her university and Indonesia at the International Rounds of the 2022 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, DC, and the Global Rounds of the 2020 Foreign Direct Investment Arbitration Moot, where her team finished as the 4th World Champion.

Fira is fluent in English and Indonesian.
