SSEK Contributes to Trends Magazine – Data Protection and Employment

SSEK Law Firm partner Syahdan Aziz and associate Vivin Purnamawati have contributed to the new issue of The Law Firm Network's Trends Magazine – Employment Law. This issue, covering 13 jurisdictions, continues the series on employee privacy and the processing of personal data in employment relationships.

This issue focuses on the archiving and destruction of the personal data of former employees. Syahdan and Vivin discuss various issues of concern for employers in Indonesia, including the preservation of electronic items, keeping or archiving different categories of data, the right of employees to be forgotten, and balancing the reporting obligations of employers with former employees’ right to privacy.
