SSEK Takes Part in Meeting with Indonesian Manpower Ministry on Expatriate Employees
14 March 2019

SSEK's Stephen Igor Warokka was part of a delegation from various chambers of commerce and non-chamber business associations who met with officials from Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower (MoM) on Thursday, March 14.

The meeting was to discuss the draft MoM decree listing the positions that can be held by expatriate employees in various business sectors in Indonesia. After a lively discussion, the MoM officials asked the attendees to submit their suggestions and/or proposals by email.

Asked when they expected to issue the decree, the MoM officials said "as soon as possible". We will provide further updates once the MoM decree is issued.
