SSEK Partner Provides Legal Training for Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

SSEK partner Stephen Igor Warokka recently provided training for employees of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the preparation of legal products.

In particular, Stephen provided training on the preparation of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreements.

Stephen specializes in corporate law and M&A, labor law, expatriate work permits, immigration, construction, and shipping law.

Stephen was named to the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia in 2022. In 2021, he was appointed to head the International Relations Division of the Indonesia Labor Law Consultants Association , an independent organization that provides input to the government on employment-related laws and regulations.

In 2019, Stephen was heavily involved in helping to shape the contents of an Indonesian Minister of Manpower decree on positions that can be held by expatriate employees in various business sectors.
