Denny Rahmansyah, a supervising partner of SSEK's award-winning land and property practice, was a featured speaker at a seminar on Indonesia's land and property sector.

Denny discussed the legal framework for Indonesia's land and property sector, including land titles in Indonesia, foreign ownership of land, land acquisition, land-related taxes and recent developments in the sector. Denny also looked at the do's and don'ts of land due diligence in Indonesia.

The seminar, "Land and Property: Acquisition, Foreign Ownership, Investment and Taxes," was organized by SSEK and Deloitte Indonesia's Chinese Services Group, and was held at Deloitte's office.

The seminar also featured a presentation from a high-ranking official at the Indonesian National Land Office (BPN), who provided an update on BPN policies.
