SSEK Lawyers Lead Training on Indonesian Oil and Gas Contracts

SSEK partner Fransiscus Rodyanto led a session at a legal training seminar on Indonesian oil and gas contracts.

The three-day seminar, held in Jakarta at the Pertamina Corporate University, was organized by Gadjah Mada University for junior, middle and senior legal staff members of the Indonesian state-owned oil and natural gas corporation and its subsidiaries

Frans provided an overview of Oil and Gas Contracts (Production Sharing Contracts or PSCs), PSC Gross Split, Technical Assistance Contracts (TACs), Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Cooperation Contracts (Kerja Sama Operasi or KSOs) and Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs).

Other presenters during the three-day seminar included lecturers from Gadjah Mada University, officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and officials from SKK Migas, which manages upstream oil and gas business activities in Indonesia.
