SSEK Holds Seminar on Work and Immigration Permits for Expats

SSEK partner Stephen Igor Warokka led a seminar on Tuesday, April 9, on "Employing Expats in Indonesia: Work Permits and Beyond."

Stephen covered procedures to obtain work and immigration permits for expatriates in Indonesia, the process for extending work permits, and those positions that are open to expatriate employees. He also looked at the different visas in Indonesia and what activities are permitted under each visa.

More than 40 people participated in the event, which was held in the seminar space at SSEK's offices.

Stephen is a supervising partner in SSEK's immigration law and work permit practice.
