Ahmad Ramadinan Saptara (Dinan) assists clients in litigation, arbitration, and investigations.

Prior to joining SSEK, Dinan spent three years at another leading firm in Jakarta, where he had acted for clients, including multinational companies and Indonesian state-owned enterprises, in litigation before Indonesian courts and arbitration at BANI and LAPS SJK. He had successfully represented stock brokerage firms in multiple high-value securities arbitrations at LAPS SJK connected with the 2020 Jiwasraya financial scandal. Dinan had also advised clients on complex anti-corruption, white collar, and corporate crime investigations.

Dinan is fluent in English and Indonesian.

  • Advising and representing the Indonesian subsidiary of a leading Korean bank as respondent and counterclaimant in a BANI arbitration against an IT contractor arising out of a software development project.
  • Advising a group of Indonesian and Singapore-based venture capital firms in initiating the termination of a portfolio company’s co-founders from the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners.
  • Advising a US-based pharmaceuticals company in a series of internal investigations into allegations of improper sale and distribution of vaccines and other pharmaceutical products.
  • Advising an Indonesian venture capital firm in an anti-corruption investigation by the Attorney General’s Office of Indonesia on alleged misdealing related to investment rounds led by state-affiliated venture capital firms in an Indonesian agritech startup.
  • Advising the Indonesian and Asia-Pacific arms of a Swiss trading company in an anti-corruption investigation by the Attorney General’s Office of Indonesia on alleged misappropriation of government subsidies given by the Indonesian Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency.
  • Advising a UK-based global NGO in an internal investigation into allegations of misappropriation of funds by an Indonesian partner foundation.
  • Advising an Indonesian-Japanese management consulting firm in an internal investigation into allegations of data theft by its former director and employees.
  • Assisting a Chinese technology company in a consumer-protection compliance investigation by the Indonesian National Police.
