SSEK Provides Introduction to Copyright Law and Personal Data Protection at ET-Asia Training Event

SSEK Law Firm gave presentations on copyright law and personal data protection in Indonesia during a recent webinar.

SSEK associate Dian Kirana (Deka) provided a general overview of copyright law in Indonesia and discussed the nature and function of copyright, establishing rights, and copyright infringement, with a case study.

SSEK also provided an overview of the purpose and legal grounds for processing personal data. We discussed, among other topics, personal data protection principles and data protection arrangements. Ruth also touched on the new personal data protection law in Indonesia and the implications for business.
