SSEK Partner Stephen Igor Warokka Recognized in Legal 500 Rankings for Indonesia

SSEK partner Stephen Igor Warokka has been named a Next Generation Partner for Shipping in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2020 guide to outstanding lawyers and law firms in the region.

Stephen earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) School of Law. In 2015, he was seconded to the Tokyo offices of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, where he, among other things, gave presentations on Indonesian shipping law.

Stephen\'s experience includes representing various foreign shipping companies in the acquisition and sale of vessels, advising foreign shipping companies on the shipping agency business in Indonesia, and advising shipping companies on foreign ownership restrictions and Indonesian cabotage laws.

SSEK was named a Tier 1 firm for Shipping in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2020.
