SSEK Hosts Breakfast Briefing on Expatriate Work and Stay Permits

SSEK Law Firm hosted a breakfast briefing on the latest developments in expatriate work and stay permits, with guest speakers from the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration and the Ministry of Manpower.

Participants heard about and discussed new regulations on Indonesian co-laborers for expatriate employees and the list of approved positions for expatriates; the latest rules on allowed activities under different visas; visa requirements to hold a meeting in Indonesia; Indonesia’s Golden Visa program; hiring expatriates and the required visas; enforcement changes and trends; and more.

The guest speakers were Ade W. Sathria, an immigration analyst at the Directorate of Immigration, and Ali Chaidar Zamani, a sub-coordinator for eligibility testing and RPTKA approval at the Ministry of Manpower.

Stephen Igor Warokka, a supervising partner of SSEK’s corporate immigration practice, moderated the discussion.

Forty people from 25 companies and organizations participated in the event.
