SSEK’s Aldilla S. Suwana Named ALB Indonesia Rising Star

SSEK associate Aldilla S. Suwana has been named an Asian Legal Business (ALB) Indonesia Rising Star 2023.

ALB Indonesia Rising Stars highlights the country’s top up-and-coming lawyers who are delivering exceptional performance while winning wide acclaim and favorable remarks from clients.

Aldilla joined SSEK in 2018. Her practice focuses on energy and natural resources, environmental law and climate change, in addition to general corporate matters, real estate and foreign investment.

Prior to joining SSEK, Aldilla worked for the Indonesian government on sustainable fishery development, climate change mitigation and the reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) framework in Indonesia. She also worked as legal counsel for the Presidential Task Force on the Eradication of Illegal Fishing and as legal counsel and an assistant to the Minister/Head of National REDD+ Agency.

Aldilla earned her LL.M. in environmental law and policy from Harvard Law School, which she attended on a Fulbright scholarship.
