SSEK Law Firm foreign legal advisor Michael S. Carl was a panelist at the recent PERADI-SAI seminar on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Law Enforcement in Indonesia.
The seminar was part of the 5th National Working Meeting (Rakernas) and National Seminar of the Indonesian Advocates Association – Voice of Indonesian Advocates (PERADI-SAI), held recently in Surabaya, East Java.
Michael discussed, among other topics, the development of AI in Indonesia and the use of AI by law firms.
The panel also included, along with Michael, Heru Pramono, the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Indonesia; the Secretary General of the Indonesian Constitutional Court, Heru Setiawan; and Jacop Hendrik Pattipeilohy, Director A to the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence at the Indonesian Attorney General's Office.
During the seminar, Michael and the other panelists discussed how AI is being utilized by law firms in Indonesia and the agencies represented by each panelist.
The event was attended more than 1,300 PERADI-SAI administrators and members from across Indonesia.
