SSEK Founding Partner Speaks at M&A Conference

SSEK Law Firm founding partner Ira A. Eddymurthy was a featured speaker at the recent International Bar Association (IBA) Asia Pacific Mergers and Acquisitions Conference in Tokyo.

Ira spoke as part of the panel “Opportunity in Complexity – Getting Deals Done in Southeast Asia.” She shared her experience and insights on how to deal with issues that plague transactions in Indonesia, from the perspective of both local and foreign parties.

SSEK partner Nico Mooduto and foreign legal advisor Michael S. Carl also attended the conference, which was presented by the IBA Corporate and M&A Law Committee and supported by the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum.

The two-day conference provided updates on the current environment shaping cross-border investments and M&A in Asian Pacific.
